The March Edition of my 10 on 10 is here. So happy to have made it 3 months into this amazing project already.
I actually tried to shoot this on Friday but it just didn’t work out once my kids went to school. I was stuck and a little lost without my bebes. Besides, I made this project *about* my kids so I have decided going forward that no matter what, I’ll shoot this series on days when they’re home. It just so happens that for the last 3 months, I’ve shot on Saturdays when my boys have dance lessons in the morning (hence the same grey top and black pants – I swear they have lots of clothes haha). Shooting on a Saturday also gives me Sunday to edit and write. That being said, this was an incredibly busy weekend (hence the late post) but a great one, nonetheless. The weather was gorgeous and it seemed like everyone was outside enjoying the warmer air. We finally met a few new neighbours who were out and about too. Everyone was happy. You could hear the snow melting beneath our feet and the chatter of children playing. How do you not smile for that. When we woke up, we opened up my studio doors and stood on the balcony smiling at each another as the sun hit our faces. I’m so excited to landscape, paint, renovate and spend our first summer in our new home. I’m not putting my Sorels away just yet, but I am going to find my flats this week! Here’s to hoping! ;)
Moving on, yesterday was spent like most weekends since moving to our new neighbourhood; with friends who also happen to be neighbours (our kids also go to school together). We’ve never entertained so much. And I’m not complaining. In fact, we love it! We are definitely making up for lost time as we always felt that our old house just wasn’t big enough to accommodate even a small crowd. When the kids were born, their “stuff” took over. Now, things are different. I mean, the kids have their own playroom equipped with their own desk and chair for writing and drawing, comfy loungers to sit in and read, and a ridiculous amount of toys to play. Yet the still complain ;) So, like every other month, this is a typical day in the life.

PS: Some of you may notice my blog got a facelift. Let me know what you think. It’s still a work in progress but I love how it looks already. It’s definitely more me. I just need to figure out a bigger way to showcase my images in blog posts without screwing up my settings. But hey, that’s what support is for! ;)
