Another hot day. Another hot couple in love. I see a trend here ;) Meet Dejana & Mike, childhood sweethearts!
*sigh* that photo just melts me.
Dejana and I went back and forth on a location but we decided to shoot at Paletta Mansion because everyone loves it there. There’s a little something for everyone and small enough that you can walk through the premises fairly quickly. Originally, we were going to hit McMaster in Hamilton but we decided to save that for their wedding day.
They’re doing a really great job of hiding it but it was super duper hot out. We were all sweating. But they held it together and did such an amazing job in the small window of time we had. We hit every area that we wanted. Again, it’s what makes Paletta so great. But that’s really only part of the equation. Having a great couple in love also helps. Big time.
See what I mean…. *gah* so so adorable. By the end of the session, we got a little inspiration against the brick wall. It seemed to work so perfectly with what they were wearing and their vibe. I really love this last series. Dejana definitely channeled her inner fierce goddess, while Mike played it cool, always maintaing eye contact on his lovely bride to be. Did you notice that? I took quite a few photos of them in loving embraces, taking one another in. That wasn’t staged. It’s just who they are. And I love it!

Double sigh. Absolutely heavenly. I just love the way they look at each other. Dejana & Mike, your day is almost here. It’s going to be an amazing day – full of tradition and a LOT of celebration from what I hear. This will probably go down in history books for me as this will be my first Serbian wedding with details rich in colour and culture. I am so excited to spend the entire day with you!
