I feel like I start every blog post I write with the news that I’m still trying desperately to catch up. In my defense, all my sessions from 2011 are on a different (much slower) computer than what I’m currently working on, which makes blogging/uploading photos an almost painful process if I’m being completely honest. Â Maybe I should change my tune and just accept the fact that I can only blog when I have the time. Maybe I shouldn’t be so truthful haha!! ;)
Anyway ….. today, I’d like to feature a serious little cutie (who also happens to be our niece). I’ve watched her grow over the last 9 months and couldn’t be happier to share some of my personal faves with you today! Meet Miss Vivienne!
I couldn’t get over how beautiful her lips were and I absolutely loved the way her chin curved. Most of all, I loved her heart shaped beauty mark. It’s always the little details that get me every-single-time.
And there’s nothing more precious than a first time mom glowing with pride as she holds her baby girl in her arms.
But they don’t stay this small forever. In fact, this stage doesn’t last very long as most of you know. It’s something I know every one of my newborn clients understand, which is why newborn photography is one of my favourite stages to capture! Newborns are so fresh and new. But they change so quickly. By the time they hit their one month milestone, they’re so much more alert. They’re bigger. Chubbier. The rolls start forming. Their smiles get wider. And their eyes; oh how they gleam. They’re no longer newborns anymore, but babies full of personality and innocence.
Other than the newborn stage, I love photographing babies that are between 6-9 months of age. This is why. A description is really not needed once you see how stinkin’ cute these photos are!
It’s been great watching you grow Vivie! The first year is always so amazing, isn’t it?! You are honestly one of the happiest babies I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Always smiling. And so gentle and sweet. It’s no wonder why your family loves you so much. You are loved little one. Forever. Robyn xo
