I was thrilled to take Tony on when he told me that he was interested in having photos done for his investment management banking business at Scotia McLeod in Oakville. He didn’t want the typical headshot that everyone else at his work was getting. He wanted more! Something unique that set him apart. More importantly, something that represented who he is as a business professional. This is where I came into the picture!
As most of you know, I am not your typical studio photographer. I only work in my studio with newborns and babies. There are so many wonderful photographers who rock the studio look (not to mention the art of studio lights), so I don’t really feel the need to take that on. Besides, I am much more natural and earthy with my style of photography. For me, it comes down to being real. Real light. Real backdrops. Real emotion.
What I do know is that it’s important for any business professional to portray an image of style and class — but their images must also speak to their target audience. People want to know who they’re dealing with up front. They want to look at your photo and form a bond before they walk through your door! Tony wanted to make sure any existing and potential clients knew that he’s a professional who is serious about his business but that he’s also an extremely personable guy. Someone you’d be happy to work with! I definitely know who I will be calling for any financial assistance! Tony is the guy! Tony, I hope you like your sneak peak!!! It was a pleasure working with you! :)
