Sasha and Jared’s beautiful destination wedding at the Sandos Playacar in Mexico is up on the blog!
Before I begin, I know it’s been a while… and gosh, I forgot how long blogging takes. But this wedding was worth the time and I’m so happy to be back at it again!
It was an absolute honour photographing Sasha and Jared’s wedding that took place in April at the Sandos Playacar in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Melissa and I left Toronto in a freak blizzard, but arrived to the warmth of the sun. We could see right away just how beautiful their destination wedding was going to be. The grounds at the Sandos Playacar were amazing and there was inspiration everywhere. Literally everywhere. My heart was so full.
After a couple days basking in the sun, we gathered together to celebrate their love on the beach at the Sandos Playacar. As we witnessed their heartfelt vows with the sand in our toes, I couldn’t help but embrace the moment I was in. My job takes me around the world. I get to meet and work with the most amazing people who impact my life in such an incredible way. It goes without saying that Sasha and Jared’s Mexican destination wedding left a mark on my heart; I am so grateful I got to capture these moments to share with you now. I absolutely love shooting destination weddings, just sayin’ ;)
Fun fact, once the wedding was over, Melissa and I were going to hit the hot tub because it was a long day in the sun, But we decided to grab a late night taco bowl instead at the 24 hr Mexican bistro and join the bridal crew at the Sandos Playacar disco. We danced until the wee hours of the morning and lived to tell the tale the next day. When in Mexico… ;)
