I am really excited to share this session. I’m almost ready to start blogging all the wonderful people I photographed in 2013 — but I couldn’t sit on this one anymore! When Katherine & Michael came to me with their rustic Canadian wedding theme, I was thrilled. I love when couples can bring personality to their milestone occasions. We came up with a few ideas and the rest is history.
Yep… so so so cute they are! I loved their choice of wardrobe (it was November after all). And well, it goes without saying that we had to incorporate Canada’s favourite coffee – Tim Horton’s :)
After a quick snuggle, we made our way through Bronte Creek searching for beautiful rustic wilderness. Not too hard to find here!
I’d say they make the great outdoors look good, doncha think!
I love willow trees in the fall – but there is nothing more gorgeous than that beautiful green pine colour set against woody tones. It honestly made my heart jump! Michael’s flannel shirt couldn’t be more perfect! Katherine, you can make a paper bag look good so we won’t even go there! ;)
I don’t even know what to say — you guys just owned it. Next, we decided to spice things up a bit ;) I’ll let the photos tell the story. Don’t judge! Isn’t this what every Canadian does? ;)
It wouldn’t be a Canadian theme without a little Hudson’s Bay and their signature colours that we all know and love. These shots were some of my favourites from their session!
Last but not least, and after a quick outfit change, we took a few more photos around the barn before calling it a day. We were also greeted by a little “friend” hah!
I love how we ended the session; cuddled and warm, embraced, sharing a red love mitt like a true Canuck in love. It really doesn’t get better than this! And it goes without saying that I am so excited for their wedding in November of this year! It’s going to be amazing!
Thank you for checking out Katherine and Michael’s engagement session! If you like what you see, send them some love. Leave them a message on Facebook or a note on the blog. Lots more eye candy to come! Until then, Robyn xo
