I’m really humbled. Truly. Words really cannot describe what it feels like to have someone nominate you for an award. For me, it means I’m doing something right … that my hard work is paying off and that YOU truly appreciate and value what I do.
In a big sea of photographers, being nominated means a lot and it goes without saying that I appreciate it so much. Last year, I didn’t even know that I was nominated until the very last minute when a colleague casually mentioned she voted for me (long story) yet I still walked away with a Platinum award for Best Photography Studio and Gold award for Best Photographer. I didn’t even know that I won awards — again, long story so it goes without saying that I felt bad that I didn’t get that opportunity to thank you all for voting for me. When I found out I won, it was too late. So, without getting too wordy … thank you so much for your love, support and votes!
