I am so very excited for Blair and Jeff’s big day this Friday. They are the sweetest couple with a love of coffee and great music – my kind of people! And I couldn’t be happier for them as they embark on a new journey together.
This summer, Blair and Jeff met me in Burlington for their engagement photos on what was probably the hottest day of summer. No joke. It was one of those days that you start sweating the minute you take your first step outside. But we grinned and beared it. In fact, we were grinning from ear to ear (yes, I smile when I shoot – all.the.time – so I’ve been told). At any rate, a little heat wouldn’t stop us from enjoying the day by the water at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington and an amazing latte to get the session started!
A big shout out to Tamp Coffee who made us the nicest latte art. I will admit, I got a little giddy. Not only do I love a good latte, when someone can turn it into art, I’m all over it. And their coffee puts other *cough* big coffee shops to shame (not mentioning any names haha) but seriously, if you’re ever in downtown Burlington, head to Village Square for a cuppa at Tamp Coffee. You won’t regret it!
Back to Blair and Jeff … after having coffee, we decided to walk along the boardwalk. You’ll notice our new pier. It’s a gorgeous little spot!
How cute are they!? And they only get cuter as the day goes on!
Change of wardrobe and location and we were at the beach down the street. I love shooting at Beachway. It’s so nice there and it suited their personalities perfectly!
I absolutely adored the black and white portraits we took at the beach. I don’t know what it is but black and white portraiture at the beach screams California to me. And with the extreme heat that day, that’s kinda how we all felt! ;)
But that certainly didn’t stop them from having fun! Something I absolutely love about my couples!
Blair and Jeff, the day is almost here. And I am beyond excited to capture your love in a big way.
See you both very very soon! Lots of love, Robyn xo
