September is here and it’s full of new beginnings, well around here anyway. The boys started a brand new school for SK and couldn’t be more excited (so excited, they no longer want to be at their daycare that also runs a kindergarten program throughout the year). They love their teachers, classrooms and friends (yes, we decided to separate them) and we’re so impressed with everything we’ve seen so far, except for the staggered entry messing up our schedules and their ability to properly transition – but I won’t go there ;)
Yet, here I am, talking about it again haha but I’ll try to be nice! Since their school is staggering kindergarten kids in (and they’re new to the school as well), the boys were treated to a special private meet and greet with their teachers. Would I consider this to be their first day of school? No. But is their first real day at school really on the 16th? Two full weeks after everyone else has been in school? No. So, we dressed them up and took photos like it was their first day. And to be honest, it was nice getting to see their faces and reactions as they explored their new school, routine and most importantly, the playground ;)
Here’s a little glimpse of what went down.

Thank you so much for checking out another 10 on 10. 9 months in and I’m just loving this project! Please keep it going by checking out Melissa Stanfield’s 10 on 10 here. I just adore her work and her sweet family! Happy September everyone! Robyn xo
