WEE!! This was one amazing wedding and it’s taken me so long to share it (I swear, each wedding blog post I write gets longer and takes longer) but I’m so happy I am finally sharing it with you all. With Christmas still in the air and with this wedding being right out of a fairytale, I felt it was only fitting.
So, let’s begin! Jason and his boys. Such handsome men. And such great memories. Like I said, handsome men! Next, we move onto Keltie and her ladies. I absolutely adored Keltie’s details. They were simple and classy. I mean, just look at her shoes *drool* I love when I get to capture brides and grooms getting ready. I think it’s such an important part of the day not to be missed. I had to take a minute to post some of my favourite shots of Keltie. Honestly, she was such a beautiful bride and I loved the photos we took. She looks a little like Jessica Alba to me. Anyone else see it too? I really liked how Keltie and Jay set up their wedding day. All their photos were done before their sunset ceremony, so after they got ready, we took a few bridal portraits before their first look! And of course, one of my favourite parts of the day! The first look! It’s such an emotional experience, I cry every single time! We did a few more portraits before the ceremony began. Here are some of my favourites. Isn’t the Chateau des Charmes just lovely? Photos of a bride with flower girls get me every time! Such a gorgeous bridal party! We snuck in a few shots before the ceremony began. I love candid moments, they are often times my favourite photos of the day. Their beautiful ceremony. My favourite part of the day! Theirs too, I’m sure! ;) A few more bridal portraits before their dinner began. Since Keltie arrived in a horsedrawn carriage, we had to take a few photos with the horse and through the vineyard. Just stunning Keltie and Jay… absolutely stunning! Their reception at the Chateau was so elegant! It was a beautiful summer day and their details were just right! Their grand entrance and first dance as husband and wife. Followed by a beautiful night of heartfelt speeches, tears, and a lot of laughter. I mean, a lot! I loved this little special touch! Keltie was so animated, it was so much fun watching her and Jay react to all the surprises they received! They too, had everyone in tears when they spoke! And of course, the big surprise… a surprise I had to keep secret for months because it was a surprise for Jay from Keltie. Fireworks. I mean, seriously! It doesn’t get better than that, especially at the Chateau. As the night went on, everyone danced and had a ball. Lots of memories made. And lots of love was in abundance. Keltie & Jay, words cannot express how honoured I was to capture your big day. It was special. It was grand. It was everything I know you wanted it to be. Here’s to life and your journey ahead! All my best, Robyn xo
