And so here we are. I’m in the thick of wedding season so blogging when I’m actively editing my life away is tough. It’s tough because I am a stickler for detail and want everything to be perfect; that’s the way it should be. So, without further hesitation and with much anticipation, I present Jessica & Steven’s gorgeous summer wedding.
Their day started off right at their ceremony in Agincourt. It was simple and elegant and they both looked so gorgeous!
And of course, the best part :)
I just loved Jessica’s gorgeous dress and veil. It was so beautiful and dramatic and extremely classy! Definitely a sight for sore eyes!!
Aren’t they just the sweetest couple ever!
After the ceremony, we went straight to Willow Springs in Stouffville to have photos taken. It was such a beautiful day and a beautiful place to have photos done. As a photographer, I was in my happy place with the stunning backdrops. As you can see, we definitely took advantage!
So cute. There is nothing I love more than seeing kids all dolled up. Of course, we can’t leave out the adults who equally cleaned up quite nicely for Jessica and Steve! And yes, we had a blast taking photos.
Now, you tell me. Who did it better? Jessica or Steve? :)
The bridal party were stunning. Here’s a couple of my faves.
Last but certainly not least – the main attraction – Jess & Steve. I can’t get over how amazing you two looked. Everyone could really feel their love and it really showed. Here’s a little hightlight!
So sweet!!
And it just kept getting sweeter and sweeter as the day went on…
Before I continue, can we just talk about how gorgeous they both looked individually…
No arguments there right? And now, one of my favourite shots of the day. Don’t ask me why. It was just a really beautiful moment. And were truly dancing like no one was watching. Except me ;)
We were just about to wrap up formal portraits when this happened. And believe me, I am so glad it did.
THISÂ shot and her veil blowing made my whole day *sigh*
Moving on, it was time for a celebration; I’m going to let the images do the speaking :)
One of the nicest parts of the day was the traditional tea ceremony that occurred while guests were seated for dinner. I really enjoy a good cuppa tea and if you haven’t seen blooming tea before, you’re in for a real treat. These teas start out looking like a ball of weeds. No joke. But they turn into a beautiful flower that is quite lovely to drink.
As the bride and groom were introduced, the night was well on its way with lots of laughs.
My dinner looked just as good as it tasted. Oh yes, mmm!!
As speeches and dances filled the night, we could all feel their love, even more than ever.
Pretty safe to say that everyone was in awe as they had their first dance as husband and wife. Their tented outdoor reception was so beautifully done. The chandelier was a really nice touch and added a lot of flair with a touch of class.
And with that, the night ended for us as it began for their guests who were ready to dance the night away.
Jess & Steve, it was an absolute honour and privilege to capture your day. Yes, there were a few little hiccups (like all weddings), but when I look at these photos and reminisce on your special day, all I can see is love. True and unequivocal love  that you both are lucky to have and share with each other. Love each other. Take care of one another. Remember this day and cherish the memories you made forever. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for letting us into your lives. I am excited for what the future has in store for you both! Lots of love, Robyn xo
