Visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens | Burlington Photographer | Family

This post is long overdue! In fact, I haven’t blogged about the kids in a long time and I feel bad about that. Life has been busy and while I know many of you follow me on Facebook, I also know there are quite a few of you who don’t have Facebook and therefore only follow my blog. I promise to update it more often with photos of my kids. These days, it’s tough to get a decent photo of them but it doesn’t mean I don’t try! ;)

My hubby and kids took me to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington for Mother’s Day so I could snap photos of all my favourite things. We were supposed to go on Mother’s Day but the weather wasn’t cooperating. In fact, it snowed that morning!! Snow in May … who woulda thunkit! So, we decided to go a couple weeks later when the weather was much more stable. And what a beautiful day it was! The lilacs were in full bloom — it was so amazing to see the hundreds of tress that blessed my nose with the most fragrant smell ever. The smell of lilacs have always reminded me of my childhood so it was an amazing experience getting to walk through the lilac trees while snapping photos of everything under the sun. Here are a few highlights from the day …

Yes … the last photo is of yours truly snapped by “my” one and only! :)
