Meet the gorgeous and ever so beautiful Lindsay. She’s an up and coming starlet in Toronto who was in need of a photographer to take professional headshots of her for an upcoming performance this month. I, of course, was up to the challenge as a photographer and couldn’t be happier with the way her photos turned out. I will admit, I was a little nervous at first taking on the job of photographing Lindsay. I wanted to make sure I was doing her headshots justice. You see, I was an actress for a while so I know how crucial headshots are when it comes to being noticed and hired in Toronto (or anywhere for that matter). In fact, when I was just starting out in the “biz”, I did my own headshots and failed miserably until I spent the money and hired a professional photographer in Toronto to do them right.
Well, I now know what headshots are supposed to look like (laugh), so we took to the streets of The Annex and had a blast catching up with my dear friends while taking photographs in some of the coolest locations I’ve ever seen. The Annex is such a vibrant neighbourhood — I could almost  live there (Jody, I said “almost” hehe). We met a lot of strange people on our walk through the streets, which totally brought me back to my youth (aka 10 years ago) when I used to hang out at Sushi on Bloor and The Dance Cave at Lee’s Palace. Oh, how I miss the city. I will be back.
