Ask and you shall receive …
I asked for newborn boys to photograph a couple weeks ago and I got my wish (and then some)! Meet Leo — an absolute sweetheart in every way imaginable and I had the honour of capturing his first moments of life. How amazing is that? Then, I met his older brother Nicholas, and my heart melted … such beautiful boys!
When I met Leo for the first time, I couldn’t believe how much hair he had! It’s so awesome! The last thing I wanted to do was cover it up, so I decided to keep things really easy for this session by keeping the focus on Leo and nothing else. Leo, on the other hand, had another plan in mind. His plan was to poop and pee on every blanket I brought with me that day! I didn’t mind one bit (when photographing babies in the buff, it’s to be expected) but it definitely made for some interesting and hilarious moments throughout the day. Basically, when he wasn’t eating … he was pooping. And when he wasn’t pooping on my blankets, he was pooping all over his Daddy’s foot and his Mommy’s top. I’ve never seen a poop explosion like this before. And it will stay with me. Forever. And trust me when I tell you that I’m smiling right now as I write this …
But that’s just part of the game folks. The real fun begins now with this sneak peak. Mary, thank you for your hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my day with your family and meeting your boys! This is just a taste of what’s to come!! :)
