It was a joy to photograph this beautiful baby girl in Mississauga last week. She is the daughter of my friend and fellow bandmate Mark Joseph and she couldn’t be any cuter! When I first met her, she was super sleepy. I thought she’d be putty in my hands. But a week went by due to scheduling conflicts — and everything changed! It’s like she knew I was coming! She anticipated it. She waited for it. And she made me work! She had one eye open for almost the entire session, watching every move I made, and the minute I put the camera down, she’d smile. Maybe she was laughing at me, but I got the last laugh, literally! ;)
Oh, she was a feisty one, but I’m proud to say that I haven’t lost a battle yet! Not only did I capture gorgeous smiles and her stellar personality, I also got to incorporate my favourite colour for her session — purple!! Mark and Sophie, it was a pleasure photographing Catherine. Thanks for being so patient and for bribing Isaac with ice cream — whatever it takes to get a family photo, right?!
