Honestly, I never thought it would be this easy. When my former colleague and friend asked me to take photos of her young kids, I knew that anything was possible. Having one child under 4 is tough to photograph … so I knew it could potentially be challenging with two kids aged 3 and 5. Now I know it’s best not to assume anything because these kids were far from challenging! In fact, they were super sweet and infectious and knew how to work the lens like naturals.
First shot of the day and this little man totally rocked it! I swear, he’s done this before and he loved having his photo taken!
His baby sister didn’t do so badly herself. In fact, this photo makes me want to pick my jaw up off the ground! She is so gorgeous …Â sigh, sigh sigh! These kids are going to break some hearts when they’re older!
And here’s the proof that these kids can take direction while being cute, lovable, and convincingly natural, all at the same time!
We really enjoyed walking around the grounds, exploring all the wonders of nature and all things fall-like. We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather too! I still can’t believe they didn’t want to sit on the bridge or in the leaves for fear of getting dirty! Too funny (Adrian, you have trained them well haha)! And ohhhh that beautiful early evening light, it was so yummy, I simply couldn’t resist getting at least one shot of them in that gorgeous haze.
Keely, thank you SO much for trusting me to capture your children. They are so lovely and so darn cute! I hope you enjoy your sneak peak as much as I do! Oh, there’s so much more to see, you just wait!! I’ll leave you with one last photo to tide you over until your gallery is done. I love it!! It’s the “we look like an old married couple” shot by the rocks haha!! Enjoy! xo
